It was a sunny evening with some clouds in the sky. And the walls of the 1250 feet deep canyon were lit up beautifully. The bridge over the canyon is the second highest bridge in the world (and until 2001 it was the highest) and is made using steel cables supporting 1200 wooden planks. Through gaps in wooden flow you can see the Arkansas river 1000 feet below and it’s quite a nerve wrecking experience.
