Question by João Irênio: Which is the average temperature in Colorado during the winter?
Im gonna stay there from dec through march. What about the wheather there? Could I consider it one of the coldest in America?
Im brazillian and Ive never been in Colorado yet. Im completely afraid of it.

Depends on where in Colorado. If your in the “high country” expect the temps to be below 0 C (32 F) on average.
If your east of the mountains (i.e. Denver, Boulder, Ft. Collins, Colorado Springs), then the temps will vary greatly. Some days it could be cold and snowing, the next day it could be 20 C (uppers 60s F).
Expect a couple of things, very dry climate and a lot of wind. You will need to drink a lot of water to keep yourself hydrated. The cold may be a shock to someone coming from the tropics, but I think the weather in Colorado is mild.
Is it the coldest in the US? Not even close. The New England region, upstate New York and Alaska are much colder.
